What do I need for treatment outside the military unit?
In case of referral for treatment outside the location of the unit, military personnel must be dressed in accordance with the time of year and have with them:
- direction signed by the commander of the military unit;
- medical book;
- identity document;
- necessary personal items;
- food certificate;
- certificate of injury (injury, injury, contusion);
- medical description.
In case of departure for treatment outside the garrison, a certificate for clothing and monetary allowances, travel documents to the location of the medical institution and back is additionally issued.

Determining fitness after injury
To determine suitability for subsequent military service, a Military Medical Commission (VVC) is held after the completion of treatment. The decision of the Military Commission notes a causal relationship between the injury and participation in hostilities (required for registration of a one-time monetary assistance).
In exceptional cases, military personnel may be granted 30 calendar days ' health leave. According to the decision of the Supreme Executive Committee, the vacation for health reasons can be extended for the same period, and if there are appropriate medical indications, it can be re-extended for another 30 calendar days.

- performance of official duties by the injured serviceman in accordance with the daily routine of the military unit, including on a business trip;
- performance of state duties by the injured serviceman, including in cases where these duties were not related to military service;
- finding the injured serviceman as part of the daily work order;
- perform tasks in accordance with the orders and orders of the commander of the military unit during off-duty hours, on weekends, holidays and non-working days on the territory of the military unit and beyond;
- following to or from service, during business trips, on foot or in a vehicle of any type and form of ownership;
- performing actions that do not fall within the scope of the official duties of the injured serviceman, namely: preventing accidents or saving human life or state property, maintaining military discipline and protecting law and order;
- participation in sports competitions and other mass events and actions held by the military unit independently or by the decision of the senior commander;
- following the injured serviceman to the place of business trip and back in a vehicle of any type and form of ownership;
- infliction of bodily injuries by another person or murder of an injured serviceman in the performance of his duties of military service or actions specified in paragraph eight of this paragraph, regardless of the beginning of a pre-trial investigation, except in cases where the victim and another person clarify personal relations of an off-duty nature, confirming the conclusion of the relevant authorities;
- the injured serviceman receives injuries or other injuries due to the deterioration of his health, which occurred under the influence of a dangerous factor or environment in the course of performing his military service duties, which is confirmed by a medical report;
- sudden deterioration of the health status of the injured serviceman or his death during the performance of military service duties as a result of exposure to dangerous or harmful factors and ( or) the severity or intensity of the work performed, which is confirmed by a medical report, if the work performed was contraindicated according to the medical report on the state of his health and if the victim did not pass the appropriate medical examination;
- the death of a serviceman as a result of an illness or injury received earlier in the performance of military service duties, which is confirmed by a medical report;
- announcement of the deceased serviceman by a court decision.
When are there no payments made to the military for an injury?
The circumstances under which accidents are not recognized as related to the performance of military service duties are determined in the course of an official investigation. These can be the following cases::
- stay of the injured serviceman at the place of residence, except for the stay of conscripts and cadets of military educational institutions at the place of residence in barracks and dormitories of military units;
- the presence of an injured serviceman on vacation or on release from the location of a military unit, except in cases of injury to the serviceman at this time in the event of performing actions to save human life or state property, maintain military discipline and protect law and order;
- deterioration of the state of health as a result of poisoning with alcohol, narcotic drugs, toxic or toxic substances, as well as their actions (asphyxia, stroke, heart attack, cardiac arrest, etc.), which is confirmed by an appropriate medical report, provided that the poisoning is not related to the influence of these substances on the injured serviceman due to their use in the technological process or unsatisfactory storage or transportation, and the victim was suspended from performing his duties by the commander (chief)before the accident occurred;
- alcohol, toxic or drug intoxication, not caused by the technological process, which was the main cause of the accident in the absence of technical and organizational reasons for its occurrence, which is confirmed by the relevant medical report and materials of the accident investigation;
- use for personal purposes without the knowledge of the command of vehicles, weapons, equipment, tools and materials belonging to or used by a military unit;
- intentional commission of a criminal offense established by a court verdict of guilty or a resolution (ruling) on the closure of criminal proceedings;
- intentional infliction of personal injury to military personnel;
- unauthorized abandonment of a place of service by a serviceman;
- natural death as a result of congenital malformations, death from a common disease, suicide, which is confirmed by the conclusions of a forensic medical examination and (or) a resolution (ruling) on the closure of criminal proceedings.
